“Through the eyes of the different ones”

idea

“Through the eyes of the different ones” is a joint art project of Yandex Go, Yandex foundation "Help nearby" and charitable organizations "Perskeptivy", "Naked Hearts", "Tourmaline", "Simple Things", "Anton Tut Ryadom", "Syndrome of Love" and "Downside Up". It aims to support charitable organizations and their mentees with special needs. 128 cars of our Yandex Go partners in Moscow and St. Petersburg were decorated with art prints created by special artists – the mentees of the charitable organizations. Taxi cars turned both into mobile exhibitions and social advertising in an unusual form, as well as a space where citizens could see the world through the eyes of people with mental disabilities. Colourful prints on the cars attracted attention, while inside the cars the passengers could learn more about the foundations and the ways to help them. As a result, the number of subscriptions for rounding up the bills increased significantly: +20 000 new subscriptions in 2 months (10 000 were planned); – 125 000 users visited the project's website and learned about the issue of city mobility for people with special needs (100 000 users planned); – 350 000 users for 2 months were informed about the project in the Yandex Go app (250 000 planned); – 4 000 000 — total daily reach of the audience in taxi cars of two cities (Moscow and St. Petersburg); — 75+ publications in major media like Forbes, Afisha Daily, Srsly, Buro 24/7, Snob and other outlets (50 publications planned); – 3 000 000 — project reach on social media (2 000 000 planned). The campaign also gained around 10 000 likes, shares and comments on social networks. Thus Moscow and St. Petersburg citizens learnt more about the life of "special" people and ways to support them – motivated by curiosity and positive emotions.
