Through two films, we show our unfortunate character who wants to attend the Qatar World Cup, but had to stay at home. But is staying at home so bad? Film 1 opens on a billboard inviting people to celebrate the occasion. Our sad character looks at it. As he looks closer, he starts to realise that it’s not all celebration and fun: the crowd, the noise, the smells… In film 2, we see our character all prepared to drive to Qatar by car, but he couldn’t make it happen. With great sadness, he starts to realise how difficult and exhausting this long journey might be: through an endless desert full of nothing else but sand. At the end, we reveal our message “sorry you couldn’t make it’ and the product with giveaways through a sarcastic approach highlighting the best reasons to stay in Kuwait during the World Cup.
