Christian Doering is a German creative director in communication design and won several national and international creative design awards with his works. He worked at Scholz & Friends Hamburg, KOREFE – Kolle Rebbe Form und Entwicklung Hamburg and Dragon Rouge Paris/Hamburg. Christian is specialized in the creative communication design fields of consumer branding and corporate branding.
The promotion of young talents is very close to his heart, that’s why he’s been involved in the Cannes Young Design Lions competition, the iF Design Talent Awards or the ADC Talent Award from Germany.
His philosophy is “Creativity is about having a fantasy” and nothing satisfies his passion for design and his distinctive personal aesthetics more than brand development, including for individual artistic projects such as the contemporary art project Maison Blessing. Christian is a design consultant for the art magazine Texte zur Kunst and produces designs for record labels around the world, such as Bpitch Berlin, Dial & Laid Records Berlin, Smallville Records Paris, Curle Records Gent, Phorma Records Stockholm, WordandSound as well as the Mathew Gallery New York.
He is a member of the Art Directors Club Germany, Art Directors Club Europe and the D&AD in London.
Christian served on the jury of numerous design competitions and festivals, including Art Directors Club Germany, Cannes Lions, Cannes Young Lions, D&AD, Eurobest, iF Design Award, Red Dot, New York Festivals to name a few.
