White Square, one of the largest international creativity festivals in Europe, celebrates its 15th anniversary in 2023. Every year entries from 35+ countries of the world are submitted, while the geography of the Festival participants is expanding annually. The festival shares the principles of socially responsible marketing, peacefulness and defends universal human values. Social projects at the Festival are supported annually by partners and special prizes.
White Square Festival invites representatives of branding, design, marketing, advertising and other communications industries to submit their best entries, implemented between January 1, 2022 and April 28, 2023, in the category BRANDING , which includes 22 nominations in 5 contests.
Taking into account the participants wishes and jury recommendations, White Square Festival organizers have increased the number of nominations in the category BRANDING this year. To the traditional B. COMMUNICATION DESIGN (celebrates creativity in design and branding), X. PACKAGING DESIGN (celebrates creative solutions in packaging design) and Q. DIGITAL & INTERACTIVE DESIGN (celebrates creative solutions in digital and interactive design) the organizers added 8 new nominations:

Design of product itself or/and packaging that increases brand value through functional and aesthetic resolution demonstrating brand qualities or identity through form, function, usability or aesthetics is evaluated in PD. PRODUCT DESIGN.

Using points of sale, environment and surrounding to convey brand messages to the target audience using design solutions is evaluated in BD. BRAND ENVIRONMENT DESIGN.
The major criteria of judging in the category BRANDING are creative idea and its execution, successful use of design solutions to define a brand or communicate its key messages via unique visual identity.
In addition to BRANDING, participants of White Square Festival 2023 are welcome to submit the entries in the following categories:

To submit the entry participants need to format the entry according to the technical requirements for the chosen nomination. Entries will be judged in English, so all the submitted entries must be translated into English or have English subtitles. To upload the entries participants are to register on the website by clicking on the button "Submit entry", enter all the requested data, go through the process of submitting in personal cabinet in the selected nominations and wait for confirmation from the Festival moderators within 3 working days. If the entry fits into other contests, participants can submit it in additional categories for consideration by other jury line-ups, which may increase the chances of winning.
The preferential deadline for submitting entries is February 28.
