At the start of the new season we appealed to the most prominent representatives of communications industry of Europe, the CIS and other countries, to professionals who are not just well-aware of marketing, advertising and creative festivals but actively take part in them, with one single question: what is the meaning and benefit of their participation in advertising festivals in general, and in “White Square” in particular, what is this benefit for them personally, for their companies, for the communications industry.
Starting to publish the answers! Please welcome the first one – by Folker Wrage, founder & owner of wrage/antwort, Switzerland:
“Advertising festivals do a lot more than just hand out awards. It is one of the few opportunities we get to spend time out of our offices and focus on learning and improving our skills. We can listen to experts from all over the world, broaden our minds, get inspired and motivated.
Of course, it is also a stage for us. We can talk about our experiences, show our work, present our ideas, teach young professionals. We make connections, find new talent, meet old friends and be a part of a global community.
White Square is truly dedicated to give each participant the chance to learn as much as possible during three inspiring and insightful days. I don’t know a single festival that is more focused on inspiration and education. I always try to find a way to be there”.
