Barcaffé, a popular Turkish coffee brand, connected a very old local tradition of coffee fortune telling with a very new technology, AI, and created an advanced digital tool - AI Turkish coffee fortune telling tool. Using the tool users take a photo of the coffee grounds in the cup, ask the question and receive a personalized prophecy. For themselves, the person they are interested in, or even a TV show character. We partnered with Slovenia’s most popular TV show and enabled users to find out the future of their favourite characters. By the time we turned in this application, Barcaffé AI fortune telling tool received 275.104 submitted questions in Slovenia and Croatia combined - which is pretty impressive, since there’s only 6 million people living here and we had no prize winning game to encourage the engagement. An average user asked up to 7 questions per visit, while the most eager ones asked over 100 questions. Even after the end of the advertising campaign, digital activation is still very active, receiving more than 600 questions each day.
